I have always wanted to set up something in my garage for a photo shoot. There is just something about the light in an open garage that has always attracted me. It is soft and even because it is in open shade. The very edge of the garage, right before you are outside is the best. I have thought of many things to set up in there but just never really did it. Until now!
I decided to do a birthday celebration photo shoot for my other blog, Seniorologie. It has been a year since it was created and I wanted some photos that were fun! So I searched pinterest for an idea and came across a tutorial about zig zag paper streamers on Ohhappyday.com. You can read the tutorial here. I bought one pack of multi-color scrapbook paper and started cutting. It was really easy and I was sooo excited about that.
I borrowed a white seamless paper backdrop from a friend (Makeup Artist Katie Cotton) and set it up in my garage. I hung the paper streamers from the ceiling of the garage, in front of the white backdrop. And voila….A very easy, do it yourself backdrop for a total of $5! You can’t beat that!!
